Josh Johnson with his father Jeff Johnson started in a small shop in Desert Hot Springs, Ca. Just building and customizing vehicles, mostly to take to car shows and cruises. After a couple years of shows and cruises they noticed there was starting to be a decline in repair and customizing shops specializing in aftermarket upgrades or modifications it seemed that car enthusiasts didn’t want to just take there vehicles to the local lube shop. Since Desert Hot Springs was too far away from vendors and suppliers the decision was made to open a new shop in Ontario, CA., so KFS Customs was opened.
